For Filipino Catholics working in the United Arab Emirates, there will be evening masses in some of your local churches.
Atleast two Catholic Churches have confirmed. They are St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oud Metha, Dubai and St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Yarmook, Sharjah.
Mass schedule starts tonight, December 15 and will be until December 23.
It will be held every 7:30 pm at St. Mary’s and 8 pm at St. Michael’s.

To do this with other currencies, just type replace the USD currency code with the currency code that you prefer. Then press enter again.
For example, Type in 50 HKD to PHP. HKD is the currency code for Hongkong Dollars.
Good News for Filipino’s Working Abroad and their families, Section 22 of Republic Act 10022 is now in effect. It amends Republic Act 8042 also know as the Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipino Act.
This means that OFWs will no longer be charged the Documentary Stamp Tax whenever they send remittance to the Philippines.
To avail of this benefit OFW beneficiaries or Recipients must show a Proof of Entitlement. You can get the Proof of Entitlement at the POEA office.

Overseas Filipino Workers will be gathering in Brunei this December 5 for the annual Pasko ng Pinoy celebration.
This event is being organized by the Filipino Association in Brunei, Philippine Overseas Labour Office (POLO), and the Philippine Embassy.
It will be held at Rizqun Hotel in Gadong, Brunei. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the Brunei International Airport and Bandar Seri Begawan.
The aim of the event is to celebrate is to ease homesickness and to promote camaraderie among Filipino workers in the country.
Various prices will be given for the participants in the lantern making contest, best choir contest, children’s game show, and raffle draws.
One of the prices is a four Brunei-Manila-Brunei return air tickets that is being sponsored by Cebu Pacific Airlines. There are also cash prices to be given away sponsored by Western Union, LBC, Landbank, Baiduri Bank, I-Remit, IPHO, Jollibee and Tinkerbell Learning School
Filipino workers in Brunei are encouraged to attend to gain new friends and to learn more about the community.
